STAN ZALEWSKI has practiced in the architectural field for over 15 years, and has received most of his experience working in multi-disciplinary firms as a Project Architect. After Graduating Carleton University with distinction, he moved to Japan where he produced designs for a mix of business and residential projects. On his return to Canada he designed and managed a variety of project types in various firms. He led consultant teams on large scale commercial projects, many of which were recreational and entertainment and designed many smaller scale design projects.
Stan left his role as a project architect to begin this practice and pursue the same types of projects from within a smaller scale office offering full architectural services from pre-design through to post construction. This intention created a new office model providing full architectural services as before, and being integrated into the fabric of the community. The office embraces the neighbourhood by welcoming the public into the reception area (café) allowing for an interaction between the studio, local artists, and the public, in the space of the café.
